Murad Acne Complex Review: Does Murad's Acne Treatment Really Help Stop Acne?

According to his bio, Dr Howard Murad is a highly experienced dermatologist, having treated over 50,000 patients during his lifelong career.

I’d say that if you’re going to go see someone about a skin problem, Dr. Murad is your best bet. But for patients that Murad can’t treat directly, he invented a skin treatment that’s supposedly one of the most innovative and efficient in today’s anti-acne medicine.

These are the premises that convinced me to buy the Murad acne treatment in order to fix my long-lasting pimple problem. Admittedly, simply calling it an “acne treatment” might not do this product justice, as it’s also used against redness or sensitive skin, shaving irritations, cellulite, skin aging and even for protection against sun rays.

Talk about getting the bang for your buck. I wanted to give you this short intro on Murad’s acne treatment, since you probably already know about Acnezine, which is one of the most popular and well-regarded treatments on the shelves today.

However, the Murad acne treatment is definitely a good competitor and it would be well worth your time to study about the two, before going for one or another, simply based on advertising.

So let’s suppose you’re young, have no sensitivity issues, you don’t shave yet and you don’t really need sun protection just now (let’s say it’s winter, m’kay?). All you care about is getting rid of that silly acne that cut down your confidence harder and faster than a machete cuts through the jungle.

The very same acne that stopped you from interacting socially, or asking out that girl you like.

Let’s face it, acne is a serious problem, not only because it’s dangerous to the skin and may be the source of potentially scarring, but also because it affects you mentally.

I was in that situation described above and when I set out to cure my acne, I narrowed down my choices to two products: Murad’s acne treatment and Acnezine. I tried out both for a while and let me just say, right off the bat, that they’re both excellent treatments and it all comes down to a few details that give Acnezine the edge.

First off, Acnezine seemed to have a bit of an advantage when it comes to long-term treating. While I was using Murad’s acne treatment kit, it did indeed slow down breakouts whilst it cured the current pimples but it was Acnezine that managed to get them out completely.

In all fairness, I did use Murad first, then Acnezine, so the latter may have just popped open the cork that Murad loosened up.

Another advantage that gave Acnezine the edge for me was the “aftertaste” of the treatment. The aloe vera extracts in Acnezine really leave your skin soft and clean after you use the solution, whereas Murad’s acne treatment dried it up a bit. If you have a sensitive skin, this could prove to be a decisive factor.

All in all, the two were fairly equal and definitely efficient while I used them, but like I said, if I were to go through a similar problem again, I’d take Acnezine for another spin. Thankfully, it cured my acne problems last time, so now I’m off the hook.
