Four Tips to Get Rid of Zits

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 7:15 am

Zits can be embarrassing, especially for teens and preteens in school. Some people are lucky and only get a few pimples every now and then but others are not so lucky and have bad breakouts often. The good news is that you do not have to go to the doctor all the time anymore to get rid of your acne. There are many treatments that you can do right from home to get rid of zits. Not to mention the fact that natural cures are much better for your skin than chemical treatments. Below you will find four natural treatments for zits.

1.Take a daily vitamin supplement. Make sure that the supplement has the amount of Zinc in it that your body needs on a daily basis. Having a Zinc deficiency can actually be one of the main causes to your zit problem in the first place. Zinc is a necessary element needed for the oil producing glands, it also has antibacterial properties that can help with any possible bacterial problems you may have. Chromium is another good thing to have in your daily vitamin supplement. You should also make sure your vitamins are organic and do not contain chemicals.
2.Long hair, along with pimples, seems to be one thing that many people have in common. If you have long hair, whether you have a problem with zits or not you should tie it back. Even though it may not be an issue now it can become one in the future. You see, your hair contains oils and when you hair is rubbing against your face all day long those oils are bound to be in your skin. When the oils get on your skin it can seep into the pores and clog them, therefore tying you hair back can help keep the oils out of your pores.
3.Keep your pillow case as clean as possible. This is why, you sleep on your pillow case every night which means that dead skin and oil from your face get into your pillow. Then once all the nasty dead skin cells and oils are on your pillow you lay on it again the next night and all that grim gets back onto your skin and into your pores causing your pores to be plugged. When your pores get plugged bacteria gets stuck in them and cause pimples. Therefore it is a good idea to wash your pillow case every other day.
4.You should never pop your pimples or blackheads no matter how temping it may be. Just do your best to resist the urge. When you pop the zit or blackhead it cause an increase in sebum. By releasing more sebum may only result in more pimples and blackheads. Additionally, when you pop your zits you are actually rupturing little membranes under the skin. When these membranes are ruptured they releases more infection and sebum under the skin, which can also cause more acne.

These are the four best ways known to keep your face from becoming covered in acne. No one wants to walk around school or work with a blotchy face. Girls, you should remember to use water based make up instead of oil to lower your risk of having acne. There are no miracle cures and nothing can remove your pimples overnight. However there are a few things that can reduce visualization of the zits.
