5 Acne Home Remedies that Really Work

Acne is a problem that can be devastating to your self esteem and leave you looking for relief. However, if you are tired of dealing with acne problems, there are things that can be done to help deal with the problem. Believe it or not, you don’t need to spend the big bucks for acne treatments in the store or online. There are actually home remedies that are easily used and cheap as well, that really provide relief for your acne problem. So, here are five great acne home remedies to try that really do work.

Home Remedy #1 - Lemon Juice Remedy - One home remedy that really works for acne and that is easy to find and use is lemon juice. You can purchase lemons for a reasonable price and then you simply squeeze some of the juice out. Take the juice from the lemons and then apply it to your skin. Leave on for about 20 minutes and then make sure that you gently wash it off with warm water. Do this every evening and you’ll begin to see a notice in your skin.

Home Remedy #2 - Avocado Remedy - Another very easy and cheap home remedy that you may want to try for acne relief is an avocado remedy. Mash up an avocado and then mix it with enough water to make a paste. Spread the paste on your skin and then leave it on for about a half an hour. Then make sure you wash it off, since it can get a bit messy.

Home Remedy #3 - Oatmeal and Yogurt Remedy - The oatmeal and yogurt remedy has been proven very effective as well and you simply take yogurt and mix it with oatmeal until you have a nice thick mixture. Apply it all over your face and then wash it off a few minutes later. Oatmeal is very healing and it’s a remedy that can really provide you with results to your skin.

Home Remedy #4 - Honey Cinnamon Paste Remedy - Honey cinnamon paste also works to treat acne without purchasing medications. Simply add about a teaspoon of cinnamon to a quarter cup of honey and mix it up well. Then apply it to your face and leave on for about 20-30 minutes. Don’t sleep in this paste, since it is quite sticky. After letting it sit on the skin, rinse well with lukewarm water and then pat your face dry. Usually it’s best to only use this treatment a couple times each week.

Home Remedy #5 - Cucumber Paste Remedy - Last of all, cucumbers can be used as a home remedy for acne as well. Blend up a cucumber until it is about the consistency of a paste. Spread it all over your skin and allow the coolness to cool and heal your skin. You’ll find that it feels wonderful on your skin and it helps to eliminate acne problems as well.
